Ole B. Hovind, M.D.


Founder and Chairman, Sonitor Technologies

Dr. Hovind is an M.D. with a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard Medical School. He graduated from the Norwegian National Defense College in 1984, and was a Major in the Norwegian Army.

In addition to having worked as a physician in offices and family practice, he was Director of the Hospital Division in the Norwegian Department of Social Affairs. In this position, he had several international engagements through the World Health Organization as lecturer and advisor.

He was a member of the City Council of Oslo, and has served as elected City Counselor with responsibility for Health and Social Affairs. Dr. Hovind was the Medical Director of the largest private physician’s clinic in Norway, Volvat Medical Center.

He became Sonitor’s Chief Executive Officer in 1997, and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2003.

Mr. Ragnar Bo


CEO Sonitor Technologies, Global Headquarters

Ragnar Bo joined Sonitor Technologies as its CEO in 2002. He was previously with Software Innovation ASA, where he was CEO of the Mandatum subsidiary. In 1992 Mr. Bo founded the Norwegian software and consulting company Mandatum, which in over ten years he developed to be a leading company in the field of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Mandatum merged with Software Innovation and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 1997.

Prior to founding Mandatum, Mr. Bo was Financial Manager at Melbye Scandinavia, where his experience included a broad range of financial roles including taking the company public in 1984 and its listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Mr. Bo's management career experience with technology and software companies includes Finance, Marketing and Sales roles with Securitas, Bertelsmann, Tektronix and SuperOffice.

Ragnar Bo graduated from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) in 1982 with a degree as Business Economist. Mr. Bo serves as a director of several private companies' boards. He is also a reserve officer in the Norwegian Navy.

Mr. Terje "Terry" Aasen


CEO & President, Sonitor Technologies, Inc.

Terry Aasen began working with the Sonitor Team in early 2005 as a consultant, and subsequently was appointed CEO and President for the company's U.S. subsidiary in the Fall of 2005.

Norwegian by birth, Mr. Aasen has spent the last 20 years in the United States as an executive with several leading global technology companies. These range from start-ups to those exceeding $100 million in annual revenues; having overseen acquisitions, divestitures and turn-arounds. Prior to his position with Sonitor, he was CEO of Laerdal Medical Corporation, a leader in the field of Emergency Medical Care, therapy, and training equipment. Preceding this, he was CEO for VingCard and Elsafe, both global leaders in hotel security systems. Mr. Aasen also served as a Vice President for Tandberg Data, a computer technology company. He worked for Siemens in Norway with various managerial responsibilities within finance, sales, administration, and marketing.

Mr. Aasen received his degree in Business Administration and Finance from Industrie & Handelskammer in Germany in 1978. His background includes Board memberships in private companies and healthcare organizations, as well as the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Wilfred E Booij


CTO Sonitor Technologies

Wilfred E. Booij has been CTO of Sonitor Technologies since 2006. At Sonitor he has been responsible for introducing a number of patented innovations that are now finding their way into the Sonitor product portfolio, such as the use of standard PC hardware for ultrasound detection. Prior to working for Sonitor, Wilfred was a Senior Scientist in the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Lab at SINTEF, Norway’s leading industrial R&D organization and a senior engineer at Hewlett-Packard (later Agilent Technologies) in the UK. Wilfred Booij earned a PhD from Cambridge University, where he graduated in 1997 on work involving the development of high speed superconducting digital devices. On the basis of this work he was offered a prestigious position as Research fellow at Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge which he held from 1997-2000. Wilfred's first academic degree was awarded by the University of Twente, in the Netherlands where he obtained a master in Applied Physics.

Mr Jorn Husemoen joined Sonitor Technologies in January 2007.

After thirteen successful years with a global leader in the telecommunications equipment and related services market - the Ericsson Group - Jorn Husemoen has chosen to continue his career in a new exciting industry with great global potential.

According to market researchers like Frost & Sullivan and Goldman Sachs, the emerging market for Real Time Location Systems (RTLS)/Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) is predicted to grow substantially in the years to come.

As the CFO for Sonitor Technologies Jorn Husemoen will use his experience and expertise to contribute to the development and expansion of Sonitor Technologies in the pursuit of IPS industry leadership.
