Key advantages of ultrasound identification technology for indoor positioning presented at IDTEchEx summit

At the 3rd Annual Active RFID, Real-Time Locating Systems (RTLS), and Sensor Networks Summit, Terry Aasen, President and CEO of Sonitor Technologies, Inc, will give a presentation titled “The Unique Advantages of RTLS Ultrasound Technology,”.

The presentation will be given at on December 6th at 2:30pm. Mr. Aasen will highlight the key advantages of ultrasound identification technology (USID), as opposed to RFID, for indoor positioning systems. In addition, Sonitor will be hosting a live exhibit, located at Booth # 19.


The Active RFID, RTLS, and Sensor Networks Summit organized by IDTechEX (December 5-6, 2007 in Dallas, Texas) is the world’s only conference dedicated to active RFID and RTLS technologies. The conference will feature presentations and case studies on the effectiveness and efficiency of these technologies by corporations such as BP, Boeing, and Ford.
