PeriOptimum and Sonitor Technologies Announce Strategic Partnership for Real-Time Location Technology
Companies Will Deliver Full-Service Solution at Women's Hospital
PeriOptimum, the leader in improving surgical throughput, and Sonitor Technologies, Inc., the leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of a proprietary ultrasound Indoor Positioning System (IPS) and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), announced a reseller agreement to deliver their combined real-time location solution to healthcare organizations. Under the agreement, Sonitor's ultrasound-based indoor positioning system (IPS) will become the real-time technology platform for providing accurate and reliable room-level location information of patients, staff and equipment to PeriOptimum's integrated automated workflow software. The Companies are in the process of installing this solution at Women's Hospital in Baton Rouge.
PeriOptimum and Sonitor Technologies will improve surgical services throughput, by accurately tracking patients' locations and status. Now that the implementation is complete, this system will be utilized in surgical services by ten operating rooms at Woman's Hospital located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
