Sonitor Showcase New Proprietary USID Platform at RFID Journal Live!
Sonitor Technologies will exhibit the latest ultrasound identification (USID) products at the 6th Annual RFID Journal Live!, to be held from April 16-18, 2008 in Las Vegas.
The three new products to be featured at the conference includes the Semi-Disposable RTLS Personnel/Patient Tag, Automated Fall Detection technology, and the “PC-Detector.” These products expand upon Sonitor’s proprietary ultrasound identification (USID) indoor positioning system (IPS), which automatically tracks with reliable 100% room-level or better accuracy the real-time location of moveable equipment and people in complex indoor environments, such as hospitals, office buildings etc. Sonitor’s USID system was recently described as the “the better looking RTLS cousin of RFID” and offers significant added value.
"Hospitals and many other complex indoor environments are highly dynamic and process driven," stated Terry Aasen, CEO of Sonitor Technologies. "Our customers have been asking for a better way to help manage those real-time identification and tracking processes. We're responding to their needs by providing reliable USID based RTLS technology solutions."
Sonitor will demonstrate the capabilities and advantages of a proprietary USID system at booth 813.
